Each cross stitch pattern fits in a 3 inch hoop if stitched over one on 28 count evenweave using one strand of cotton. To use 14 count aida, stitch over two and double the measurements below - each design will fit a 6 inch hoop.

If you are stitching on 28 count evenweave good lighting is helpful!
Finished size approximately for each cross stitch butterfly:
Butterfly 1 width: 2.7 inches / 6.9 cm / 76 stitches
Butterfly 1 height: 1.5 inches / 3.9 cm / 43 stitches
Butterfly 2 width: 2.4 inches / 6 cm / 66 stitches
Butterfly 2 height: 1.4 inches / 3.6 cm / 40 stitches
Butterfly 3 width: 2.4 inches / 6.1 cm / 67 stitches
Butterfly 3 height: 1.2 inches / 3.1 cm / 34 stitches
Each butterfly cross stitch will fit in a 3 inch ring.
Stitched using 1 strand of DMC Stranded Cotton
To make a larger cross stitch use a lower count Aida or to make it smaller use a higher count Aida
You will need:
28 count Evenweave (white works well) or 14 count aida if you would like to make a larger butterfly.
A needle suitable for cross stitch
10 colours of DMC thread (colour chart will be included in your download)
Three 3 inch hoops (or 6 inch if using 14 count aida)
